Since 1947 the Long Beach Community Band (aka Shoreline Symphonic Winds) has been holding free concerts for the public and providing a high-level musical experience for musicians whose "day jobs" are not in the field of music. Keeping a large ensemble like this operating requires purchasing and renting music, maintaining the large percussion instruments owned by the band, and paying for transporting them and our portable stage to the free public concerts. We gladly accept donations of any amount to help continue bringing music, free-of-charge, to the greater Long Beach community.
